Our journey begins with a warm meet & greet at Dubai Airport. After completing check-in formalities, we board our Emirates Airlines flight bound for Tokyo (Narita). We welcome the new day mid-air as we travel to the heart of Japan.

02Welcome to the Capital
Upon arrival in Tokyo, we set off to explore the city right away. Our first visit is to the sacred Meiji Shrine, nestled in a serene forest of 365 tree species and dedicated to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shōken. Following lunch at a local restaurant, we stroll through the vibrant streets of Harajuku, famed for its eclectic boutiques and cosplay culture. The day ends in Shibuya, where we hear the heartwarming story of Hachiko, the loyal dog who waited daily at the station for his late owner. Overnight at our hotel in Tokyo.

03Tokyo – Temples & Traditions
After breakfast, we visit Tokyo’s oldest Buddhist temple: Sensoji (Asakusa). According to legend, the Kannon statue enshrined here was miraculously found by fishermen. Enjoy free time in the surrounding market for souvenir shopping. We then head to Akihabara, Tokyo’s hub for electronics, anime, and subculture. Later, we walk through the upscale Ginza district before gathering for dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Tokyo.

05Tokyo – Mt. Fuji – Kawaguchiko – Oshino Hakkai – Kyoto
After breakfast, we check out and send our main luggage to Kyoto by coach for convenience. Taking only a small daypack, we travel to Mount Fuji, Japan’s highest and most sacred mountain. From the idyllic village of Oshino Hakkai, admire the perfect view of Fuji’s majestic peak. Continue to Kawaguchiko Lake for a scenic boat ride, offering panoramic vistas. Enjoy lunch en route before transferring to Odawara and boarding the high-speed train to Kyoto. Upon arrival, we experience a traditional tea ceremony in kimono attire. Overnight in Kyoto.

06Kyoto – Autumn Leaves & Zen Harmony
Following breakfast, our Kyoto city tour begins. We explore the historic Kiyomizu Temple (exterior), the UNESCO-listed Nijo Castle complex, and the Sagano Bamboo Grove in Arashiyama. Our journey continues to the enchanting Golden Pavilion (Kinkaku-ji), a Zen temple covered in gold leaf and reflecting over a tranquil pond. In the evening, enjoy a cultural performance by traditional Maiko dancers over dinner. Overnight in Kyoto.

07Kyoto – Nara – Osaka
This morning, we depart for Nara, a former capital of Japan and cultural treasure trove. Highlights include Todaiji Temple, home to the Great Buddha, and Kasuga Taisha, known for its hundreds of stone and bronze lanterns. We then transfer to Osaka and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Spend the afternoon exploring Osaka at leisure. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

08Osaka – Hiroshima – Miyajima – Osaka
After breakfast, we travel by Shinkansen to Hiroshima. Here, we visit the Peace Memorial Park and Museum, a powerful tribute to the victims of the atomic bomb. Continue to Miyajima Island, home to the floating torii gate and the Itsukushima Shrine, which appears to hover over the sea during high tide. After this deeply moving day, return to Osaka for dinner and overnight stay.

Following breakfast, we explore Osaka Castle and its historic gardens. Enjoy a final photo stop and some leisure time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing. At the appointed time, we transfer to the airport for our Emirates Airlines flight back to Dubai.
